if u were me and u really wanted ur bellybutton pierced but ur mom wouldn't let u how would u get her to allow u to get it pierced??

Well, just keep bugging her and bugging her. She will finally get tired of it and give in. I know....my daughter did it to me. Now she is working on getting her tongue pierced, but she can bug me to death on this one and I am NOT gonna give in until she is 18 and is old enough to do it without my consent. She is 14, how old are you I wonder?( by the way, it didn't hurt her at all. She didn't even flinch. She had no trouble with it at all, no infections or anything. But if you have it done, be sure you use sea salt on it)

First of all,13 is a little to young to be thinking about getting your belly betton pierced. I had my belly button pierced when I was 16 years old. I convinced my dad to co-sign for me.I think u should wait 3 years. If, after 3 years u still want it pierced here are some suggestions.You can explain to her that piercings are not forever. You can always take it out. Plus, it is in a spot that is not too visible unless u want it to be.Every parent is different, so u might be stuck until u are 18. Trust me, if u really want it, u can wait!!!

Talk to her and see what her reasons are. They might be good ones. Maybe she thinks its a phase you are going through and later on you will regret it. Some parents are really old fashioned about these things.
I had my belly button pierced years ago. You really have to take care of it or it can get infected. Me and my sister got it done about the same time and hers got infected.
Down the years I got bored of it. It closed up by itself and healed. There's a scar there now. And if you do get it done make sure its not just any place. Make sure they sterilize their needles.

im 13 and my mom wont let me do it either she said when i get in 9th grade she will let me get it peirced and that really is not a long wait so ask her if she u can get it in 9th grade or maybe ask ur dad and if he says yes tell ur mom that he said yes and then maybe they will talk it over and she will agree to ur fathers answer 2

i wouldnt....my cuzin got hers done when she was like 15 and i wanted to get mine so bad but then hers got infected and it was so nasty! i never even thought about gettin another piercing after that. But if you want one that bad get a job (and keep it) so you can pay for it yourself...keep your grades up in school and keep your chores at home done...that will show your mom your "responsible" or whatever....if your not old enough to work yet then it dont look like your gettin one for a while

Wait till your 16, but be prepared to keep clean and protected from infection.

wait until you are 18 and then have it done when you are old enough to make decisions for yourself.
if you think about the reasons for wanting one they are probably not good reasons.
and then there is the risk of infection. yuck!

I would say "Mom, you are right and I probably won't understand until the hormones stop interfering with my brain." Then be a good child and don't do it.
