I am studying International Relations in college right now, but I want to become a nurse practicioner after I graduate...how long of a process would this be? I appreciate any insight you might have....

4 years bachelors and 2 years masters. Then you can be a nurse practitioner.

My wife just went through this program. She is upset that she did'nt just go for her doctorate. She got her bachelors in 4 Years, and her masters in 2. You would then be qualified to take the test for your license to practice. If you went for your doctorate, you could get it in an additional 2. So 6yrs for your Practitioners and 8yrs for your doctorate. Hmmmm.
