Well it´s right. Geoffrey Boycott (England) was the 1st man to face a ODI delivery from Garth McKenzie (Australia). Alan Thomson (Australia) was the 1st man to get a ODI wicket (of Boycott), he also bowled the 1st maiden over. Bill Lawry (a famous commmentator in these days of Australia) took the 1st catch to dismiss Boycott. Boycott´s partner John Edrich scored the 1st fifty, by the time he was the highest scorer, he made 83 off 119 (with 4x4 6x0), and hit the 1st boundary, he also won the MAN OF THE MATCH award. England was eventually bowled-out for 190. Alan Kott was the 1st wicket-keeper to get a stump under his belt. Australia won the match easely, Ian Chappell drove them home with his well-made 60 off 103 balls (with 4x5 6x1), he also hit the 1st six.
