I know there have been other polyamory questions. I'm not interested in the religious extremes or anything to do w/ minors or people being taken advantage of, etc.
I'm talking about Lindsay Lohan having a crush on Angelina. If Brad & Angelina fell for Lindsay: What fundamentally breaks down in America when the three of them want to be married to each other?

Well, I don't know. I have a hard time imagining Brad being jealous or Angelina or Lindsay feeling bad about the deal.
Polyamorist have even come up with their own word, "compersion" for the happiness you can feel on behalf of a loved one who is expieriencing joy w/ someone else. e.g. I'm happy when my spouse is happy regardless of whether I'm the one who made them happy.
That new show BIG LOVE about the poly mormons is a lousy example of polyamory today. But at least they tried and so it's more in the open that people can and do carry on relationships involving all different forms of responsible open voluntary non-monogamy.
Do I think we should legislate who people can and can't love and how they can express it? No. I think America is becoming stranger and more foreign to me every day. I grew up believing one of the only things I would truly fight for as an American is my fellow American's right to disagree with me. I think that youf fundamental right to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness obviouly includes your right to love whom you love without undue duress or outside interference.

Yes, America is anti-polyamory. It is legally prohibited.
I personally don't care.
If Lindsay Lohan hooked up with Angelina Jolie, that would be hot. Really hot.

I dont think it will ever be where we can have several wives or husbands....Sometimes that would be nice then nobody has to lose. But I just dont think that really make anyone happy, some dont like to share

Jealousy, legal issues, human nature morality, debauchery, etc... good luck being happy in that situation... well if youre the woman anyway.
