Well, Im heartbroken :( I'll be a Senior this year and the guy that I've loved since grade school has graduated and going away to college..so I'll probably never see him again! He was my "first" and you never forget your first, unfortunately. So when I go back to school in August I'll be lost without him. I loved seeing him everyday and no other guy could ever take his place. All I think about is what is he doing?, is he thinking of me?, and what girls is he with? How can I get over him and Quit thinking of him???? Any really helpful Advice?...please!

Well it'll take some time to get over him but stay strong,okay,and bare through it!Maybe if you spend time looking for your next bf it'll keep him out of your mind!Or call your "first" and ya'll could find a way to hang-out maybe at Christmas!Yes,you'll always think of your first but you'll get over it....I PROMISE!

A person never does forget their first love, or their first. The fact is that this is really a situation where time is the only thing that will help. When you reallly love someone, and lose them, you don't "get over it" in a few days, weeks, or months. That's why it's love instead of "liked them"....or a fling, or a crush. Love is probably the strongest human emotion. If a person can flip their emotions off like a light switch, and get over someone easily, then they didn't love that person in the first place.
With time, you may still think of your first love, but eventually it doesn't hurt anymore.
The other thing is that YOU control your thought patterns, no one else can do this for you. If your thoughts linger on a person, a situation, or a bad memory, you are the only one that can DECIDE to think about something else.

Unfortunately theres only TIME that can heal wounds! Take things one day at a time. There will be everything around you that reminds you of him at school so try your best to remember the happy times and the funny times! Believe it or not- one day you will be able to think of him with a smile on your face and not tears! I promise you! Life sucks I know! Especially at 17 and 18! Inbetween an adult-going out in the world- and still wanting to be home and taken care of! Your boyfriend might just need time to explore the outside world and find himself! He may find he misses u as badly as u miss him! You never know- keep hope alive! he could come home to you!

I know exactly how you feel...well, not exactly. I've had one of those loved-them-scince-grade-school guys and although he's not graduated (hes in the same year as me) he's never loved me back. All my life it's just been a spiral of unrequited love and yes, it sucks. Things like that you don't get over. You can work through them, let it fade a bit, but you never truley get over them.

ok i know that you are feeling bad about losing this guy that you loved for ever but first you have to realizes that you arent going to be able to be with him right now mabey another time in your life then you need to be able to move on start looking for another guy to crush. No one will ever be exactly like your first love but your going to have to live on the world wont end if your not with him. just take it by small amounts of time.Good luck i hope you find the right one

You can hang out with friends but you will never forget him besides who says its the end he probably feels the same about you you know the sayings absence makes the heart grow fonder and then there's the one out of sight out of mind. be thankful you shared good times together there could be more in the future.

You can call him, and tell him how you feel, the truth is always the best, in-fact I did remember my first love. It was in grade school,I loved him for eight months. When I loved him for the first three months he found out, and I was heartbroken, too.And then after eight months, I finally found out, that he was a big, humongous jerk.

find someone else to go all mushy over, if not, if you have his phone number, screen name, or whatever else, try getting back with him!! if he doesn't want you then you should deffinantly find some one else...
