Jesus Christ loves you and I do to. The KJV of the Holy Bible in The Gospel according to John 3:16
says:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Please get a King James Version of the Holy Bible and start reading John 1:1 and read and pray that God through the Holy Spirit will reveal the TRUTH to you.

God Bless You is My Prayer,

David

About half my life ago I was invloved with a woman who was 12 years my senior.

She had traveled the world and was quite a great teacher.

Anyhoo, three things about her stood in my mind:

The first is the lyrics to Africa by TOTO:

I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's coming in 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way,
Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancinet melodies
He turned to me as if to say, Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you

CHORUS:
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do what's right
As sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serangetti
I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become

CHORUS

(Instrumental break)

Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you

It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa, I passed some rains down in Africa
I bless the rains down in Africa, I passed some rains down in Africa
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

The second is the lyrics to Days are Numbers (The Traveler) by Alan Parsons

The traveller is always leaving town
He never has the time to turn around
And if the road he's taken isn't leading anywhere
He seems to be completely unaware

The traveller is always leaving home
The only kind of life he's ever known
When every moment seems to be
A race against the time
There's always one more mountain left to climb

Days are numbers
Watch the stars
We can only see so far
Someday, you'll know where you are
Remember
Days are numbers
Count the stars
We can only go so far
One day, you'll know where you are

The traveller awaits the morning tide
He doesn't know what's on the other side
But something deep inside of him
Keeps telling him to go
He hasn't found a reason to say no

The traveller is only passing through
He cannot understand your point of view
Abandoning reality, unsure of what he'll find
The traveller in me is close behind

Days are numbers
Watch the stars
We can only see so far
Someday, you'll know where you are
Remember
Days are numbers
Count the stars
We can only go so far
One day, you'll know where you are

And the third is a quote I told her before her 3rd major trip:

I will experience everything in life so that the nights that lead to my death will not be haunted by regrets.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the class of ’99
If I could offer you only one tip for the future, sunscreen would be
it. The long term benefits of sunscreen have been proved by
scientists whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable
than my own meandering
experience…I will dispense this advice now.

Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth; oh nevermind; you will not
understand the power and beauty of your youth until they have faded.
But trust me, in 20 years you’ll look back at photos of yourself and
recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before
you and how fabulous you really looked….You’re not as fat as you
imagine.

Don’t worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as
effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing
bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that
never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm
on some idle Tuesday.

Do one thing everyday that scares you

Sing

Don’t be reckless with other people’s hearts, don’t put up with
people who are reckless with yours.

Floss

Don’t waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you’re ahead, sometimes
you’re behind…the race is long, and in the end, it’s only with
yourself.

Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults; if you
succeed in doing this, tell me how.

Keep your old love letters, throw away your old bank statements.

Stretch

Don’t feel guilty if you don’t know what you want to do with your
life…the most interesting people I know didn’t know at 22 what they
wanted to do with their lives, some of the most interesting 40 year
olds I know still don’t.

Get plenty of calcium.

Be kind to your knees, you’ll miss them when they’re gone.

Maybe you’ll marry, maybe you won’t, maybe you’ll have children, maybe
you won’t, maybe you’ll divorce at 40, maybe you’ll dance the funky
chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary…what ever you do, don’t
congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself either – your
choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever
own..

Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.

Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for
good.

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you
should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and
lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you
knew when you were young.

Live in New York City once, but leave before it makes you hard; live
in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one
might run out.

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you're 40, it will
look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than
it’s worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen…

This is a great song. It is telling you to be yourself. I hope this is what you're looking for.

Quotes:

"It is never too late to be what you might have been."

"Never follow the crowd in what you do; the crowd has never produced anything of lasting quality, value or beauty."

"Happiness makes up in height for what it lacks in length."

"Perfection has one grave defect; it is apt to be dull."

Some words:

Think back to your youth. Remember those Saturday mornings watching cartoons while eating your cereal? Were your afternoons spent drinking Kool-Aid and skating, etc.?

Those were times when you didn't seem to have a care in the world. You can still have fun like that. I'm not saying there is a magical potion that will transform you into a child, but you can recapture your child-like nature.

Just because you grow older doesn't mean you have to grow old.....
There is power in playing. It is the power of remembering who your authentic self really is, who you were going to be before people told you, you "couldn't" or "shouldn't" or "didn't have the talent to be" the person you were becoming.

When you start playing again you will awaken your inner child and begin to re-discover all the dreams you buried over the years.

Remember: you're either a dream maker or a dream breaker.

Make a list of the five things that make you the most proud of yourself. Then read them periodically. Whatever they are, act to emphasize them and enjoy the gifts you were born with. No external statements can affect your feelings of self-worth as strongly as your own beliefs.

Here is my list for example:

1. I am a very loving mother to my son.
2. I refuse to be politial and attempt to be truthful and straightforwards in all situations.
3. I love to continue learning and strive to learn more every day.
4. I am faithful and fair with my husband and my friends.
5. I am able to resist spending money and save up for things I really want.

Seriously thinking about what about yourself is good will help you appreciate them and become an even better person.

From your question alone, I know one good thing about you:

You realize the need to find good in yourself and celebrate it.

There are many people who never get that far, so be proud!

Honestly, it sounds like you still aren't sure who you are or are having an issue accepting it. My words of wisdom?... There aren't any. Dig deep, know you are a good person and love yourself. That's the only place to start. Once you truly love you, acceptance with "who you are" just comes naturally. Oh.. and live for today! There is no need to worry about the past, there's nothing you can do about it now. Don't concern yourself with tomorrow. You can't stop it from coming, just take what you get!
