I would save the spouse. The parent has had their chance to live. The parent would want you to save the spouse too.

I love my parents to death ... but they would never be able to make me happy the way my Spouse does ... !
Doesn't mean I love them more or less .. I'm just looking out for my own needs that's all ... selfish I guess you can say ... but hey what kind of question is this anyway .. haha .. !

My parents aren't going to be there holding my hand when I'm 80.
And that doesn't mean I don't love my parents, just that I hope they would pick their spouse as well.

I would have to say spouse. I care deeply and unconditionally for both, but it's different. I love my parents unconditionally because I was born into their family and it's my obligation. But my spouse would be someone I CHOSE to love unconditionally, and I think that had more meaning. And my parent would want me to do what would make me happiest and I could feel secure with myself knowing that.

Parents - because they were old and cant save them......One the other hand Spouse of course "YOUNG".....there will be thousand to save her......
