It looks like fetish leather jacket, I want it to be a bit dull, and being it's in the peak of summer, wearing it to get the shine off will probably be the death of me.

Wear it, lots...or beat it up a bit around the house...watch for beating it on sharp surfaces...
Bending the leather will work it in.

let it sit in the sun for a bit, and don't oil the leather. Even try a little saddle soap..next to shoe polishes in stores, that might dull the shine.

i know that you are going to think i'm crazy, but remember that leather is skin. wash it. in the washing machine. put some hair conditioner in with it, NOT detangler, hang it til just about dry, then put it in the dryer with some clean tennis shoes ON FLUFF to soften it up. after you take it out you can mix a mild solution of water and conditioner and lightly spray it on if it needs it for smoothing. stay on top of it tho, don't leave it laying in either machine after they stop.

Try dragging it around on the pavment outside for a while.

Wet it..
Then dry it with a hair dryer..
^^; I have that problem with leather gloves.. :)
