I don't think you are stupid, I thought the same way. My feet are very ticklish and was nervous when I got my pedicure. It really doesn't tickle that bad. I mean it does a little but not as bad as I thought. It will definately help your dry feet, they rub your feet and lower leg with some exfoliate and then rinse them. Then they put it in a sort of jacuzzi for your feet, with warm water, its really nice and they usually put a few drops of oil in there. Then they put this menthol smelling cream on your feet and then put these slippers on there and it feels so cool! You'll love it.

It's a good question- not a stupid one. They soak your feet in a Jacuzzi like tub. It doesn't tickle, it's very relaxing. They also scrub your feet which doesn't tickle either. It's also very relaxing. I recommend getting one done just to try it out. Although if you're that ticklish I'd recommend you not get a massage at the end. It'll help with the dry skin and your feet will look and feel pretty at the end.

I hate getting pedicures to. Im way to ticklish. At beauty salons, even at any place they sell beauty products, you can by a foot rock. You use it in the shower and It scrubs off all the dead and dry skin off the bottom of your feet. Its amazing. It kinds looks like a rock sponge, with alot of holes in it. I tried looking for a picture but couldnt find one. I hope this helps

First, make sure you go to someone who speaks English. That way you can tell them your feet are sensitive.
They will put your feet in a warm whirlpool bath with some bath salts, then they will clean your cuticles and trim your nails, then they file your callouses with a pumice stone or a pedicure file, then they dry them off and give you a massage.
You will find that you will relax and enjoy the massage part. I always have to tell them to go easy on the pumice because that makes me squirmy. And they do.
Then they'll paint your nails. Have fun!

Lol.. Your not stupid! I had the same prob as you. I was afraid I would kick the person. When you get a ped they treat your feet with care... so dont worry!! They usually laugh whenever you tell them that your ticklish! Dont worry. They're girls and understand.
They soak your feet in warm water and stuff.
Its sooo worth it!!
Go for it!

Don't worry about feeling stupid, I've never had a pedicure either! I laughed at your kicking-the-person-in-the-face scenario because, to be honest, that's something I would probably end up doing too.

they put your feet in water but not to hot water. then they get your toe nails all pretty (If your a guy they just clip and file them) then they get the rough spots off using a type of foot file. This does tickle but they are used to the reaction. then they finish up with a nourishing oil rub. and yes, it really does help dry feet
