Have any of you ever had an embarrassing moment that was beyond embarrassing?

In an English class I was taking I had to do a presentation. At the time I was almost certain the teacher was out to get me. I worked so hard on the project and my nerves were bad enough getting up in front of my peers. So I begin my presentation and not halfway into my presentation the teacher stops me and says:

"Some students do good on their projects, some do not. Why do you think this is true? I believe it is because they don't put enough effort into their work. Sit down."

I burst out into tears. How horrific.

So, any of you have any embarrassing moments you'd like to share?

This was a college class. I couldn't report to a principal.

I certainly have my fair share, but alas, should I put them to type for everyones perusal, I would have to never log onto Yahoo! Answers again, for fear of Ego death!

(why is it that all English Teachers are callous bastards!?)

in high school, there was a kid that sat behind me in one class that would never shut up! i couldn't get a new seat, nor could i transfer out of it, i asked and tried, no luck. i told him many times to shut up or just write notes, so i didn't have to hear him! at the end of class, the teacher didn't even give me a copy of the final exam! she knew that @sshole ruined the class for me!

From all of us who have taught at one time or another, let me say this: That teacher is a disgrace to the profession.

Everyone has embarassing moments, but you have to learn to forgive and forget. If you forget, chances are, everyone else will too. Don't worry about it too much. Other people have embarassing moments too, and I'm sure you don't remember theirs, so the probably won't remember yours.
