Every year my grandmother(who looked like Betty White), would decorate the christmas tree, she loved red birds so there was plenty of cardinal ornaments always on the tree, we would bake and decorate cookies listening to 61 country, on the radio, then on christmas every year since I was young she would take my picture by the tree, to see how tall I'd grown from the year before, It was nice to look back on them pictures, and even though my grandmother is gone, I will always have these wonderful memories of her on christmas.

When I was in either second or third grade, during Christmas break, I finally noticed that "Santa's" writing looked a lot like my parents' writing. When I asked them why, they just looked at each other and started laughing their heads off. XD

As a child, I remember waking up in the middle of the night to sit in the dark in the living room to watch Christmas lights. it was quiet and peaceful.

Leaving carrots for the reindeer and a Manhattan for Santa. There would be bits of the carrots left over but you could bet your life that every last drop of that Manhattan would be gone!
