Wish I knew, but if you saw the movie you know who they killed off and would it still be a decent series without them? I think the movie was supposed to be closure for us fans...I ended up buying the whole series and the movie on DVD...

Groan, I miss it...

Geez, why so touchy....we are commiserating with you, don't snap at us. If you want some updated information regarding bringing the series back, click on the link below...Then chill out...

Unfortunately I don't think it's gonna happen. Smart shows don't tend to last. If only Sci-Fi would have picked it up instead of Fox. But Fox is good at getting a show that I like (John Doe, Millenium, Brimstone, etc.) and having it disappear with no trace. But the movie was awesome the show was great I own both dvds and have been watching them for the past few days. Man I miss Firefly... Take my love, take my land...

I'm sorry but that show is the my most hated show ever and i ain't seen 1 episode, how can i say that then?.Well it was the Joss Whedon or the networks i dont know which probably the network that cancelled the much better Dark Angel and replaced it with Fire bloody fly and they had the nerve to nick James Cameron as well, they couldn't have the 2 shows at the same time so Dark Angel got the axe just as it was getting really good too

As much as I loved the TV series, I think you would have better luck getting Serenity 2 onto a movie screen than seeing Fox revive Firefly.

The original show had poor ratings.

The recent movie didn't do so well, box office or DVD.

The cast and crew have moved on to other projects.

I don't think there is anything we can do to get Firefly back on TV.

If enough Sci-fi nerds like you post questions like this on Yahoo Q&A, maybe the TV people might just consider putting that shitty program back on TV.

Lots of luck there, I wish it would happen. Maybe we should buy many copies of the season DVD and Serenity DVD.
