Why do you want to get rid of them? Are they causing some kind of problem? I'd leave them alone unless they are causing some kind of serious problem. Everything left alone will seek a natural balance and be kept under control by natural processes. The planet got along very well without mankind for billions of years. Then man came along and began to improve on what hadn't been broken to start with. By the way, what are stinkhorns. I've never heard of them.
