Cops are getting trigger happy with tasers. They are tasing children, older people, and even citizens that do minor things. Here is a videoclip of a woman being tased after a minor traffic stop. Tasers should be banned from law enforcement.

I feel that tasers are much safer than guns, and also gives the police a better chance of subduing a suspect, or someone (including children) who is being uncontrollable. I do however, believe that better guidelines should be set as to when it is appropriate to use. Also, regular psychological testing should be required of all officers. There are plenty out there with bad tempers and are "trigger happy" with the tasers.

If you do not listen to the cop....then you deserve it......I have never been in trouble with the law because I was taught to respect the law enforcement...if everyone did that then they wouldn't need tasers. The damn woman should have gotten her fat butt out of the car like he told her to. Shes rich now anyway so Im sure she didnt mind. If you run your mouth to a cop, then you deserve it period.

They are only used when the offender becomes violent or won't cooperate. Would you rather have the officers kill someone instead of being able to briefly disable that person? Wake up and think before you ask such a stupid question.

I completely disagree. The woman clearly escalated the problem. Instead of obeying the officer, like a responsible adult, she was using the cell phone to escalate the situation, claiming that she was being arrested.
The cop is only trying to do his job. She deserved what she got.

...I think It is a good way to stop abusive and pendejos that are a threat to law enforcement....it is an alternative...I think the teasers should have a voltage regulator..
40k volts = Abusers that are swearing @ officers
50k volts = pendejos and smart a$$es
60k volts = arm with a knife, screw driver, hammer, get the idea
75k volts = arm with a sword
No volts = he has a gun - change your F*** gun NOW

Yes! If people would behave in a Godly manner, our overworked, underappreciated law enforcement officials wouldn't have to resort to such tactics.
