Can you give me step by step details so that I do not get lost? Comcast is my service provider and we also use "Netgear" with our other laptop. However, I am trying to get Netgear access on another laptop.

well make sure the wifi card on the laptop is enabled, and the WEP key and SSID name match up. this should be the manual u got with the netgear router
and then u will be able to get online via wifi

your laptop need some kind of wireless card. There are utilities that come with these cards or preloaded in your puter that help to connect. Usually its a scan for networks. Then when you get a list of wirelees hubs you connect to the one you want.
