Allow yourself to feel.
When I am feeling really emotional about anything, I will make time for myself to just sit and think and feel. I let all the built-up emotions come out. I'll write in journal, and just let myself feel... alone. that way no one is there to try and "help" me from feeling what I do.
take as long as you need. Cry, scream, punch a pillow...do whatever your emotions tell you to do.
You'll feel better when it's done. and life will seem bearable again.
I hope things work out for you.

I guess it first depends on why you miss them. Did they dump you? Die? Go away to like the military? That makes a big difference. Time should just about heal all wounds!!

well, try to remeber all the good, fun times you had w/ that person. only time will help. and yet missing that person feeling won't go away. but make a scrapbook of things that you did w/ that person or look at pictures.

=( i understanddd you.
don't torture yourself!! go out, go to a spa or something, pamper yourself..find new activities that you're interested to keep your mind off of this person.
and like the other girl said, it takes time to heal. but you'll get better. guarantee you.
