My wife and I purchased it a few years back and we are asking $6000 less then what we bought it for (it was appraised in the low $70000's). I can't afford to lose much more on it then this. I think we got ripped off somehow. Nothing is wrong with the house and it has been on the market for almost a year...yet we have only had a few people view it. We have had it listed with a multiple listing service and on a sell by owner website with no luck. Any suggestions?

Put it on Craiglist as for sale by owner. Advertise in senior citizen's locations since that is affordable for many of them and if in Florida a growing trend in housing.

Tell the church you go to about it and offer to assist a young home owner with a lease purchase or a senior or even college student.

Lower the price and have a real sale. Get an auctioneer and sell it for the best price over $$$ (make a decision on the minimum).

Wishing you a world of luck selling it quickly!

My question is, "How are you willing to sell it?" Do you have to have cash, or do you just want to get the expense off of your back. Why are trying to sell it anyway? If you want to sell it quickly, you're going to have make some decisions and get flexible in the way you're willing to sell it. Where are you located? Is real estate moving well there or is it moving slowly? If you want more info or ideas, IM me.

Put it on craigslist
If it's in a resort area, list it in a travel magazine as a vacation property

If it's in Palm Springs, please email me.

P.s Coaches do not gain equity. $70K is A LOT for only a doublewide. - They usually sell in the $30s.

There are only 2 solutions to your problem. Continue to sit on it at the current price or lower the price.
