maybe you should consider going to night school and work on getting your degree. you could always try to talk to someone in HR or something, but you know why you are getting pushed around. make a difference in yourself and try to get that degree!

Some companies place value on higher education. That's a fact that won't change.

I once worked for an aircraft engine manufacturer that put high value on a degree. I had 12 years in the business but was passed for an engineering position because I did not have a degree. The guy that got the job? He only had 2 years experience but had a degree... in Art Restoration!!! What a crock!

What did I do about it? I went back to school, got me a degree in an unrelated field, computer programming, then promptly left the company!

Good luck!

Degree is not that much important.
Knowledge is important.
If you are really serious, you can get knowledge from all the corners of this globe.
Make your self knowledgeable by getting them from everyone and everywhere.
One thing you should know - nobody is happy in their job. You dont get the best job and suitable job anywhere on this earth.
A little compromise is required. Never mind that you are being pushed. From this also you will get knowledge and experience.
Never feel bad in whatever work you have assigned.
You have to find happiness in your job. It cannot be borrowed, begged or stolen.
Either you have to continue in your present job or you have to resign that job and find a new job. There is no via media. Whatever may be your present situation, go on adding knowledge and experience. You will reach your goal. Ignore the foolish people and be practical in your approach.

It's either you leave that place and get another job somewhere else or you go and get your degree - if that's the language they understand at your present place of work. Looking for help to calm your nerves daily is really not a lasting solution, as you'll need to keep on doing that day-in-day-out. Remember also that you're not getting younger too. Cheers!

I do not have a drgree either, which means, I am stick in these meanless jobs with no real future. I know how you feel. You could do one of three things. You could so back to school and get a degree like I am, deal with your job, or get another one. I do not know which company you work for, but it sounds like you are not being respected there, I would find another job very soon.

Are you from jamaica?

Take a deep breath. calm way down. They did that and worse to me at my last job. Do you absolutely need this job? Can you find another? Start looking, stay away from the people who bother you about no degree if you can. Locate another job asap. Good luck to you.

This work place does not seem fair, no one should be subjected to work outside! I would try talking to the manager/your boss. If nothing is done, look for another job. Professional business honor each and every empoyee, and they should respect you equally as well.... if not-- leave.

well my opnion is that you should speak to whomever is in charge nd tell them in a polite but firm matter that you dont feel part of the team due to the fact that you have no set place to work in, and feel very upset. and see where that takes you.
