why keep it secret? is there something about it that isn't right? should you not have a crush on this person for legal or moral reasons? are they involved with someone else?
ask yourself these questions and see if it is even a healthy thing to continue having...
if it's an innocent crush, and you're young (but perhaps old enough to date) ... then why not make it known? experience the thrill of asking, and always expect a rejection - this way, you can have something to say IF they say "no thank you" -- like, "well, it was worth a shot! perhaps some other time then..." and walk away with a smile, and move on.
:) having a crush is normal and fun! you could take some time to figure out if this person feels the same way, especially if they are unattached.

Well if you want it to be a secret then you just do not tell anyone. It is as simple as that. If you never want that person or people around that person to know then you say nothing and keep it locked inside you for life and or until you are ready to tell. It would have helped to have you elaborate on your question more and then you wouldnt be receiving such short answers from people.
If you would let us in on a little more or your situation then we can give you better answers on your problem. It is common sense that if you have a secret crush on someone you keep it secret, but why are you keeping it a secret is it because that person is with someone and you do not want them to know about it?

Do not flirt or do something that will make people think that you like him. Just try being nice and just be yourself! You do not have to be someone you're not!
