Well, some people in your situation get a job.
Others join the armed forces.
Some just stay home and live off mommy and daddy for a little while longer, or until they kick you out.
Others get a boyfriend and promise to give him all the sex he can handle if he pays for everything you need.
Others pack all thier belongings and go live on the streets with the other bums.
I recommend you go to a community college, meet new friends, get a part time job, ask daddy for a car so you can do all this, then when you get your grade point average up high enough, in a year or two you can go to a major college with the rest of your friends. But remember this: high school friends are just that, high school friends, you will meet your lifelong friends usually in college or in the carreer you have chosen. Why you ask? Because after high school, people move away for college, people get married and move away, people have different carrier paths. In college you meet people in the same class you are in, same carreer you are in. You are a little older, you see past the makeup, clothes. and cars and find out more about the real person.

What kind of school did you apply to?
State schools often have special programs for students who don't quite meet their admissions standards. These programs are designed to help students who didn't excel in high school so that they still have a chance at a college education. With these programs in place, it is often difficult NOT to be accepted into a state school.
If you had decent grades, no criminal record and a fair SAT score, you should be able to find a school that will accept you. It might not be Yale or Harvard, but Ivy league education is over-rated anyway.
If however, you really did struggle in high school and you simply aren't up to the standards of college - there are many other choices. Most communities have technical schools or business schools where you could pursue additional education for a wide variety of careers. You could also apprentice with a technical trade such as a plumber (plumbers make incredibly good money and are in pretty high demand).
It's tough to be facing the summer after your senior year with no direction. You aren't alone, many people feel the way you do. One thing you could do is spend some time at your local library and look up books for help with career counseling. These books can help you take a self assessment and develop some goals in life.
Other options for ways to spend your time are volunteer work or getting a job.
Don't loose hope and don't be overwhelmed by the possibilities. The world is yours - you just have to decide what you want to do with it.

Try a Community College it shouldent be to be to late to enroll and it will save you some money. Or any other college dont rely on just being accepted to just one school. You could also get a job and earn a bit of money. Or you could do some volunteer work.

You should always apply to multiple colleges. That way you have a choice if you get accepted to more than one, or you have a back up if you don't get accepted to your first choice. You can always go to community college.

Always have a back up college, I went to provisionals at University of Texas and did not cut it. I was very happy I was accepted to another school as my "backup plan". I was sad I could not go to UT, but my path was somewhere else. :)
