because i was looking for a good uni that doesnt need that much of a high score in gcse and a level and i dont know where to start looking, so is there a quick answer?

You didnt say what type of BTEC, there are several levels of BTEC, some of which (National Diploma) are equivalent to three A Levels. These would definately get you into uni.

Law is highly competative. Regardless of whether you took Btec, Alevels or IB, you'd have to get a very high score to get into a uni to do law. As the courses are very popular, they can take their pick.

You might get a place in a less popular uni, but of course employers will know this. If you get a good grade, however, you will still be able to gain employment, just not at the top firms or chambers.

I would recommend doing a social science/hums degree, then converting with a postgrad qualification. I know people who have done this.
