Get him involved!!! It's OK to *relax*, *every now and then* to play gaming consoles, but they are very addictive in a very negative way... Our mind seeks things we find "interesting" and at younger ages, fighting, racing, etc. seem like the perfect thing... Most parents don't know that, while games do provide sharper hand/eye coordination, they are very brain robbing, time consuming, energy wasting machines... Like I said, games are OK to play every now and then, but you should never play for more than 2 hours strait and never more than 5 hours a day... Doing so greatly diminishes your brain power, which we only use 8.6% of anyway.

Yeah. . . tell your 19 year old son to get off his dead azz and join the real world. Too many kids these days are computer jack offs. Tell him to go out in the real world and experience the real world. Maybe set him up with a girl. . get him laid. . . and then he'll realize how lame vidoe games are.

it may be negative if he turns out to not want to do anything in his life like my ex but then if he puts his mind to it he can make a carreer out of it and make new games for it.
