The rabbit hole goes as far as we want it to. The only limit to it, is our own mind.
What we perceive is a result of a processing of what we receive from the senses. Even if the senses were replaced by some other source of signals to the brain, we would not notice it. However, how we react to our perception is entirely in our own hands. And that's what can make the difference between seeing no rabbit hole, and seeing a neverending rabbit hole.

It's a neverending hole. Why? The rabbit always makes a back door in which he can escape out from in case this enemies are small enough to enter into his house such as a fox, pine marten, weasel, etc. Although the rabbit is very quick he is also very smart. In the Chinese Zodiac, I am born under the sign of the rabbit, the luckiest of all signs. Although it's hard to believe considering how much pain I go through every week that's self-inflicted. Trip, run into things, stub toes, fall in lake, etc. And what are you thinking about a rabbit's hole en-e-wayz? Hmmmm.........

Well since Rabbits are all over the world, I'd assume the Earths crust is made up of Rabbits in burrows. So in summary they are not holes but tunnels from one side of the globe to the other.
Also, pretend scientists recently discovered that these 'holes' are in fact gateways to another Rabbit world (Same Planet, different dimension), therefore Rabbits can travel (or if you like Slide) between different dimensions.

It is not measured in distance, it's measured by time. Start your stop watch when you dose. Then when you stop tripping from your LSD hit and become aware enough to remember your watch press stop and you'll have your answer.
