From US we are going to India next month with our 4 month baby.I was told that babies born here get rashes in India due to mosqito bites..Any suggestions

what does your doctor say about taking the baby. I would follow his advice first.

I wouldn't want to cover my baby in any kind of chemical bug spray..especially at the young age of 4 mos. If you can find lightweight cotton clothing that covers the baby's arms and legs, but doesn't over heat them, that I'd try that. There are also some organic insect repellent you could try.
