Controversy because of the location? I don't see why there would be. It will make for expensive airfare though...

Yes South Africa, and there wll always be some kind of controversy. Not everyone will agree on ref's calls etc and people will always be disappointed that their teams didn't make it to the finals. That's part of the beauty of the World Cup!!!

What kind of controversy? I don't see any reason why there would be any problem, other than the facilities maybe not being ready.

depends on what the problem is. they may be some problems not every occasion goes off as smoothly as we may want. lets hope there won't be any racism as we are post apartheid (12 years). special greetings from down south: all welcome to join us hosting & enjoying the wc 2010!!!

I don't think we should judge them. Bad things have come to happen everywhere. Who hasn't discriminated or been discriminated? let's just be careful it doesn't happen again as bad as it was.
