The average is about 20 inches and 7.5 lbs. There are a lot of normals though. That baby was just super little. I hope she's okay!

My daughter was born 6 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long and my son was 8 pounds 12 ounces and 21 3/4 inches long. There is a big variety of normal, but I read that 5 pounds 11 ounces to 9 pounds 2 ounces was normal.

Full-term average length is between 20-21 inches...

My son was 8 days late, he was 21 1/4 inches long...

It also depends on other factors, like how tall the parents are, if the mother smoked/drank/drugs during pregnancy, if she was well nurished during pregnancy, etc....all of those factors can have an effect of the length of a baby

19 to 21 inches (48 to 53 centimeters) is the average. There are loads of factors that will affect that though. Most predominantly the size of the mother.

Weight and length don't always tie up either. My son weighed 7 lb. 8 oz. and measured 47 cm. Everyone kept saying they must have got the weight wrong because he seemed so tiny.

All five of my children were between 19 1/2 to 20 1/4. Depends a lot on the stature of the parents. You know how tall or short they are.

Both of mine were 20 inches long. I think 18 to 21 is the average.

that was very dangerous....usually about 19-22 inchs btw. That baby will need a lot of extra care. Help her take care of the baby. This is sometimes normal. But usually only pre-mature by a week or 2 not 2 months. Many pre-mature babys are born. lol i was pre-mature but only by 3 weeks. most people think pre-mature babies are like runts of the litter and not smart and cant keep up.......but in mmy class i have gotten honor roll all 4 quaters.

The baby is small. Most baby's weigh around 5 pounds to a very healthy 10 plus pounds full term.
6 pounds are average weight.
Length around 16 to 22 inch's.
No need to worry really as all babies are different and as long as they are healthy.
Good luck with your baby.
