I agree with Socrates....the Exorcist is the scariest movie hands down. As a kid it scared the cr@p out of me and even as an adult, it still gives me the heebie-jeebies!
Pyscho movies aren't that scary to me because that is "too realistic"...it makes me look at my neighbors very suspiciously.
Vampire/monster movies aren't scary because that's too "unrealistic"...
But the Exorcist was a movie that "could be true" (depending on your beliefs)...so that made it incredibly scary!

In my opinion, the only movie that ever freaked me out was 'Event Horizon' it was made in 1997 so its a bit old now, but it really ruined my head.
