How old? If its a kids party, definitely DO NOT go to Chuck E. Cheese!!!
I repeat, DO NOT GO TO CHUCK E. CHEESE!!!
With three kids, I've been invited to a dozen Chuck E. Cheese birthday parties. EVERY time we go there my kids get a nasty cold or the flu shortly after. My kids are otherwise always healthy. I even take hand sanitizer with me to CEC, and I wash their hands & bathe them as soon as we get home... they still get sick!
Chuck E. Cheese is the dirtiest, germ infested place around... and it doesn't matter which one you go to. We've been to CEC in Maine, Virginia, Illinois & California.

it depends on how old the person is turning!
1-5 yrs: i recommend a park
6-10: skating party
11-15: swimming party
16-18: i'd say let them go out with their friends!
18-21: can you say DRUNK!
good luck in finding the perfect place for that person special day!
