A friend asked me that and I'm thinking, you're married you should know. Why is he asking me (I'm still single)? But it is a good question: How do you know?

if he has to ask that question, the answer is "he's not". when you're married to the right person, there is no doubt. i'm not saying that you will never disagree on anything. but love is strong, and the two can work out their disagreements together. if he is questioning himself now, he may as well leave. if he doesn't, he'll spend the rest of his life wondering if someone else would have been a better wife for him, and will probably end up cheating on his unsuspecting wife. it's better to get the hurt over with now, than to let it linger on for 30 or 40 years.

I think that's one of the questions you ask yourself (and answer with a resolute yes) BEFORE you actually get married. Then after you get married (so long as there's no abuse or anything obviously twisted like that) you throw that question away, the decision has been made, the search is over, time to let it go.
Sounds like your friend has got some "one and only predestined" ideal that he's comparing his wife to. That's not fair to her at all because no one can live up to that.

I believe that everything is predestined by God, so you are where you are because that's where you're supposed to be in life. Who you are married to is who you are supposed to be married to (at least who you are supposed to be married to now-for instance if there is sexual infidelity involved, you are free from that person according to the Bible. Matthew 5:32). With God, there is no plan B. If you've made a commitment to that person, then you just make a choice to love them, and then love comes alive and they are the right person. I HIGHLY recommend that any married person listen to the Tim Keller Marriage Series. It's not cliche, it's really good. Even if you don't like going to church, I think you would agree.

you dont know but you gotta have faith and in the end if you do your part and the other has done wrong then you will know you married the wrong person. till then don't start thinking nothing or else you will be the one that was wrong to marry cause you don't deserve that other person if you cant love them like they love you

You know because your life will be in balance in all aspects. You will have no regrets or questions. That's how you know...and faith.....you have faith that you married the right person.

i always dreamd of meeting the man of my life and in about a week fall crazy in love and marry him......
reality is ...im close to getting married with my babys dady..not so much for love...n-e more but b-c when i was in love he didn t want to marry me and he cheated on me recently.. when he asked for another chance i said it would be only my way..so he accepted..now i want to marry him just for fun..just because his mother doesnt wan t us to ...just becase i want that ***** to kwno he marryed me... .adn just because i want to ..make him pay..well reality is im miserable..and count down the days ...because i want to cheat on him.........i want to hurt him...iwant to see him cry.........i want to make him feel like trash.....
i dont know what my story gut to do with your question.. but i guess you never do know.. wish you do marry the right one...
