Zero - zerro .One should say zero because if someone is spelling a phone number, and says 0h referring to 0 the other person will dial the wrong number. One might dial 6=oh verses 0= oper. This happen to me before.

If it is in a series of numbers and letters, I try to remember to say zero. For anything else, I try to say zero, but I grew up around my parents and grandparents saying "oh" and it's a hard habit to break.

I use Zero all because of a math teacher who used to say, "O is a letter, not a number." It seems like that's one of the few things I didn't rebel against from my childhood. I wonder why?
