Definitely more realistic, although I think in the twenties is more fitting. Pre-World Cup ranking was a joke. It made American viewers actually think they were that good. Didn't help with American commentators suggesting complete tripe like "Kasey Keller is the best goalie in the world" What!!!!! Not even the best keeper in his league much less the world.

A bit maybe, but I guarantee there are more than 15 teams out there that would consistently beat the US. The US should be ranked maybe closer to 25, 20 if they are extremely lucky. Their previous ranking was complete bunk and FIFA seriously has to start looking at their ranking system and come up with a better system. Basing just on regional play is not enough obviously. It doesn't allow for a large enough margin for places that have great teams.

for our performance in the world cup, its definatly right online with where we are supposed to be. Im sure that we will come up the rankings but I do aggree that we didn't deserve a top 5 ranking. I can understand a 8-12 ranking though.

I think they should atleast be up in the 20's. Theres a few teams that didn't qualify for the world cup that should be up ahead in numbers of the USA.

No. the much lower in the rankings many African teams are much better than USA.
