the future for sure, there is nothing in the past that can help me now.

To tell you the truth, when I look into the future and imagine the hardships that I might encounter, I fall back into the past and visit the reasons why I am not prepared for the future hardships.

While living in the present
I refer to the past
to prepare for my future
so that I may stay full of life.

Both...I've had a very good past for the most part and enjoying thinking about happy memories...but one can't live in the past so I plan for the future.
Just sharin...

well, i like to "visualize" intensely my future as i want it to be. this works well. since i don't believe in jesus at the photomat(that really needs to be a song. i think i might finish writing it one day) i visualize and it turns out. not all things exactly(because, well. i would be bored if everything was exactly what i imagined it.. well, might tun out scary too) but it turns out "good". so, i say future mostly. past recently because
"i thought that i'd forget all about the past, but it doesn't let me run too fast"

Usually the future, though I look back once in awhile, to make sure I am not making the same mistakes. Plus, there are things there that actually still make me smile.

Great question. One that I have pondered here for about 5 minutes. It seems that lately I have been dwellling quite a bit on the past. Looking back at mistakes I have made, and thinking about what I might do different. Analyzing my parent and my childhood........

Today only. Can't change the past or be worried about tommorrow. Live in the moment. Learn from experiences.

I have spent way too much time in the past, so I am learning to think mostly about the hear and now, that's enough for for me.
