The Mets would probably finish in 4th behind the Yanks, Sox, and Blue Jays.

Well, they got whipped pretty bad by the Red Sox and split 3-3 with the Yankees. On the other hand, the Mets bench has been pretty productive and with the AL DH rule, more Mets batters would have a chance to bat rather than their patsy-hitting pitchers.
If the Mets and Yankees would have swapped leagues, I can imagine the Yankees would have walked through the other NL East teams. Almost any team would.

If they were in the AL East, this would be the order:
1. Yankees
2. Red Sox
3. Mets
4. Blue Jays
5. O's
6. Rays

IT would be a great race for the top between the Mets and Red Sox (I don't think the Yankees could hang with them). Unfortunately, the loser wouldn't make the playoffs because of the rediculously hard schedule they would face.

i feel the mest could be second or first even, due the fact that they play really good against the yankees, eevn though they were swept by the sox this year, there still a great team. if the sox dont make it far into the playoffs i would cheer for the mets.

They're in the NL East and they're sitting pretty on top of it.
