First off codeine phosphate is pure and does not work as the painkillers we know in the states. Codeine phosphate is nothing like Percocet or Tylenol #3. It has 1/6th the strength on codeine with Tylenol. And how the medication is made has to do with how strong it is. I'm looking for medications with codeine phosphate in USA. But I can't find any. I get them from Europe and e medication is used for head ache and it works beautiful. But not over the counter here. Here ppl would abuse anything that's says codeine without understanding that it is not a pain killer like Tylenol #3

If you have a medically necessary reason to need codeine then you get it from your doctor, by prescription. Then you take the prescription to the pharmacy and they fill it for you.

I am an alternative medicinal therapist and an ex nurse and my advice to you is to leave this drug alone codeine can damage your liver upset your digest system and cause internal bleeding, but the choice is yours.

As everyone has already said, you only get them on perscription. Why Codiene Phosphate.... they are pretty strong with some unpleasant side effects..... ??? Would you not want to consider looking at an holistic approach to whatever is your need?
