My wife and I are trying to have a baby. I did get sperm in her when we had sex last week, hoping that would make her pregnant (Sorry for so much detail, just dont know any other way to say it) and she was going to take a test to she if she was pregnant but she started her period today, so I giess there is no way she can be pregnant?...

You can still have a period and be pregnant, but it's only in very few cases ... !

Well sometimes the a woman's menstrual cycle can still happen when she is pregnant, especially if you had sexual intercourse a week before her cycle. Just have her take pregnancy test or go a physician so she can get checked out. I'm sure things will work out for the better. As long as she is bleeding she can't be pregnant. When her period is over, keep trying.
