I lived in Arcadia for a year and then moved to Sunnyside. I agree with #3 that it is a dodgy part of town. One friend and a family member stayed there for a while and they both liked it. The rooms are small, but sufficient with all the usual luxuries. The best part of the hotel is the bar downstairs and the buffets they have. I bet it's ok and if you don't like it, you can just walk down the street to the Holiday Inn. They are a bit more expensive. And if you have money to waste...the Sheraton is walking distance from both hotels.

If you have already booked a room, I wouldn't be too worried. It's not that bad. I've been there and kinda liked it.
