my 7.5 month old suddenly woke up at night howling i fed her alittle but she was howling passing gas and threw up
i have never see her cry this much
she went red in the face and i freaked out
i gave her mylecon and tylenol and then she went to sleep after crying a lot. she just wanted to hold on to me and everytime i put her down she howled

My guess is she is teething. Thats what mine did too when she was teething for the 2nd time. She did that continously for 3 days before i figured it out because i saw the buds showing. I got some baby orajel and was prepared for the 4th night and when she did the same thing i put some on her and she stopped crying in 5 min and went back to sleep.

She needed you was all. Maybe she had a night terror, maybe she had gas, maybe she was startled somehow. Either case all you can do is sit down in a comfy rocker and rock your heart out. Did she seem ok to you the next day? Is she running a fever or seem sick at all? If you are still worried you should take her to the doctor. Whats the worst that could happen...they could say there is nothing wrong! :)

My son did the same thing something gave her a really big scare. Take her out of the room hold her, feed her, and sing to her. She was just crying so mush she made herself sick. When it happened to my son a man in front of our house right near his bedroom window was showing off his loud muscle car. It also scared me too.

Maybe she is teething. you know when you have a toothache it only hurts in intervals. I bet the tylenol eased the pain.
Go out and get some junior abosol it works better than baby orajel.

maybe it had a stomach ace, tooth ache, head ache, ect. or it could have been a nightmare like the other guy said... or then again it might have just wantted to be with their mom
