Why is the world so screwed up?
Be yourself, don't look for shallow, stupid labels to fit to.

My daughter says, wear black, listen to emo music, and make some emo friends. My advice is to read about the various emo bands that you like, you can look them up on Yahoo music and read their profiles, and history and you can look at their websites. That way you know what it's all about and you know what it is you are trying to emulate. Knowledge is power. My advice is also, that you should always be yourself and that even if you are expressing yourself in a certain style, stay true to yourself and be proud of who you are, even if you are different from other people... being as everyone is different in some way or another.

Well the EMO look if you want to go that route. Well just Google and you'll come across stuff. Personally if you like the music do what you want and if you want to look "EMO" go about in such a way that makes you feel comfortable and not simply doing it for doing it sake where you'll wonder what the hell were you thinking when you did it.

well if u wont to be an emo first u have to start cutting yourself and be sad and think of the world as a 2 hell zone then u start wearing all black clothes and never wear color clothes ig u do then u ant much of a emo and dont be happy that much just be more ...sad and wear a lot of eyeliner and dont listen to other people and there smartass comments and for the music listen to evanscence or seether stuff like that well hope u like it but realy dont listen to other people they think they r better then anyone in this world because they r all happy *******

Don't be emo. Emo people shop at Hot Topic, wear black (allll black... with those ugly baggy pants with the chains on them from Hot Topic), slit their wrists, think about death, hate life, feel ignored, listen to (obviously) emo music, and want to die. Where's the fun in that?

Dress in black, wear heavy eyeshadow/eyeliner, and cut yourself. All of which I look down upon and would never do.
