Well, I have this friend who is really close and dear to my heart. Last night she got rapped by this man who is really close to her. He lives in her house. I don't know what to do, I feel so used and dirty. She used a big bottle of hand sanitizer last night to wash myself with. She feels so dirty and so used. She does not know how to tell her husband, she is so terrified. I don't know what to do. . She does not understand how this could have happened, she never did anything to provoke this man who did what he did. I really need help, I wish I was dead, I want to die, I need comfort and I can't get it cause I can't tell anyone... My friend needs help, how can I help her, where can she go, what can she do? She can't go to the police, everyone will know and laugh, point a finger. No one can prove anything, I took I shower and used hand sanitizer all over. Please help my friend... I know that this topic is way to serious to talk...

I cannot report it, It happened in the Mexican side of this border town. It is a very small town and there's lots of corruption, money moves this town. This man is friends with many cops. I tried to say it happened to my friend, I'm sorry I was not sincere, it did happen to me. It's just that I am so ashamed...

Thank you all for your prayers and your good advice...Please see the problem from my point of view, it was my Father in law. I can't just break it to my husband. Besides, we're moving out on Sunday. He can't get me where I'm going.

Honey, it sounds like it was you that was raped.
No one will laugh at her if you go to the police. Rape victims are protected and allowed to be confidential. But it is important that she do it right away. Bring the clothes that she wore or any sheets or anything that may have gotten semen on it.
If she needs to she can have the police break the ice to her husband. He needs to know too. There is no need to feel ashamed though.
If you don't report this this man will rape other women too. You wouldn't want this to happen to another woman, would you? Maybe he has already raped another and she was scared to report it.

You say that you are on a border town? Report it to the American cops. Go to an American hospital and tell them that you have been raped. They will send a female officer to talk with you. I know that it happened on the Mexican side and is out of their jurisdiction, but they should be able to do a rape kit at least.
Also washing on the outside will not really remove trace semen from you internally.

Call the police anyway, and do it now. Don't let this person get away with rape. He'll be more likely to do it again. Nobody will point a finger, nothing like that is the woman's fault. This is not a laughing matter, it IS very serious. Get on the telephone and call the police, NOW. Don't wait any longer. I am so sorry that this happened.

Get your friend to the hospital for a rape exam ASAP. CAll the police and report the crime. People will not point and laugh. Why do you want to die? No, you need to be a real friend now and help your friend instead of wallowing in fear and self-pity. Is it you or your friend? Either way, be sure to get to the hospital and have a rape kit taken so that evidence can be collected- whether you took a shower or not. Please go and go now- you cant let that rapist get away with this. I wish you well and you are in my prayers. Just go to the ER ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Magy G, I'm really sorry to hear about your ordeal. If there is one thing in life that I hate the most, then it's men who just take what they want. Rape is a very serious crime in on our country, though I think the punishment doesn't always fit the crime. You have to tell your husband about this ###hole. He will give you the moral support you need right now, you must also go to the police, you can't let him get away with this, even if he know policemen. That still doesn't give him the right to force himself on you. Again I'm really, really sorry that you have to go through all this.

ok, for one, i dont think it was a friend that it happened to. i think it was you. why did u keep switching between her her her and i i i???!! u said "She used a big bottle of hand sanitizer last night to wash myself with". that doesnt make sense. did u shower or clean down there? if not u have proof, u need to go to the e.r. and tell them. even if you did shower they still might be able to tell. call the police. and tell ur husband.

At any courthouse there are pamphlets with womens' organizations that will help you deal with this traumatic experience and get you throught the difficult times.. I can't remember the name of the organization but I'm sure if you google women or women's rights, or even rape you will find a lot of places you can call for help..

If there was DNA evidence (semen in this case) the soap will not totally eliminate it. Go to your doctor, or the ER and ask for the SANE nurse.
There is nothing, you can do that causes men to rape. It is not sex it is power and violence. It was not your fault. Seek professional help from someone you can trust, today. May God protect you.

look, i know its hard to call on the police for your husband's Friend because it may effect on her rep, but you have to, because he may going to hurt her again and it going to be worst because of that. You may also to tell her to talk To her husband to get mental help or something or for her to dump the guy, do it right now or all the wise things will get worst, her husband may going to hurt your friend again and she may going to cry for this and people will know about it sooner or later aways so call the police and get a doctor for your friends husband,tell her to sue her husband or anything, put him in trivial or anything to help her before its too late. somethings its not good to keep things that you or your friend are going to regret in life. Sodo it, believe me, you better be off being laugh at than to be hurt( or worst, to be killed by accitent or not), it good to a least to tell someone and it a good thing you did, or the wise, you may never hear this form me.

first of all let someone know, if you cant go to the cops calla rape hotline. you need to let your hubby know also. you cant and shouldn't keep something like this from him, it will only make things worse. i have been raped and molested and its not a easy thing to go through no matter what. weather you provoked this guy has nothing to do with the fact that he raped you. their is no reason for someone to rape someone. But please hunny, let someone know.
