I'm 49. I have no interest in Paris Hilton, but if i heard it and and liked it, why wouldn't i buy it? She's just a person and it's just a cd. It's the song, not the singer. Would you be ashamed to have her as your plumber if she happened to be a damn good plumber?

Well I hate her, so if I bought her CD, I wouldn't trust my judgement anymore, so then YES I would be ashamed if I bought her stupid sucky CD.
