I want to get one there and ppl are telling me its a "tramp stamp"

Scuze me but I have a tattoo on my lower back, and I am NOT slutty. My tattoo is a sun/moon surrounded by clouds and stars, and the rays of the sun say my daughter's name. It basically means that she is my sun and my moon, my universe. I got it on my back because i think I have a gorgeous back, and most people agree. A lot of people ask to see it (guys AND girls), and I don't mind showing it. People can form conclusions about it all they want but they'll soon find out just cuz I have a tattoo there, doesn't mean I'm an "easy lay." I also have a tattoo of a sun on my upper back between my shoulders, and I want to get another tattoo on my back that will begin on my shoulder and travel down the side of my back and wrap around my waist. So, just cuz I have them on my back doesn't make me "slutty." Get a tattoo wherever the hell you want. It's your body, and no one else's opinion should matter. People forget that tattoos are a form of artwork. They need to be more appreciative of it and stop stereotyping.

it is. that area is so out. alot of girls tattoo their lower back. and it looks slutty. Try the hip bones, underneath the breast along the rib cage, on the shoulder or on your back below your neck. anywhere except the tramp stamp area!!!! It sends the wrong message.

I think a good place to get one would be on your back, or a shoulder blade. That is where i would get one. You get a tattoo to show people, so why would you want it on your lower back, if people find out where it is, they would wanna see it, but they wouldn't want to see the tattoo, they just want an excuse to check out your butt

Probley cos its the most commen place to get it done, u see 16yr old girls walking round with a tatoo on the lower back, cigerette in one hand and pushing a pram.

I hear that people say that those types of women are easy and sleazy("Wedding Crashers" with Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson). But in my opinion, it's sexy and people have to make up things to say about something they can never have the guts too do themselves! Get it if you wanna. don't pay attention to ignorance! My friend has a tattoo there.
The guy who did it told her that there was that nickname associated with it... Mostly its because of that location on your body- the best viewing of it is when pants aren't on.

Yeah, I like the title. If you notice, most young "floozy" looking girls have it. The SNL bit a while back explains it all- and I agree.
