Because, young grasshopper, you become wise from learning how to cope with the problems and obstacles you are faced with, and how to not run into the same problems again. You sound like you're whining. It's life. There are problems, so what? There will be more in your future. You don't learn anything from having a smooth ride on the road of life. You learn solutions and gain insight from the bumps on the road. What makes a person ARE the bumps on the road. And it gets better when two people come together and love each other, because they can face the bumps together and gain a stronger bond with each from making it through.
Just keep going. It will be ok.

I am a reincarnationist. I believe that in order to attain a oneness with the creator, we must become Christlike. This takes many trials, troubles and tribulations. It also takes many lifetimes. Each life is one further step on our journey to eternity. Each life you live has a central purpose, your reason for being here. For example, if you were rich and didn't use your money for good in your previous life, you will choose poverty in this life in order to learn the consequences of your poor choices last time. Everything is karma. You do reap what you sow. It's just that you may reap it in your next life. So when it looks like people are getting away with bad stuff, they aren't. They will eventually have to deal with it and correct it in another life. My hope is that you will read about reincarnation and see if it makes sense to you. It's a bona fide religion and it has been a great comfort to me.

without the bad, what would we have to compare the good to. it's like light wihtout darkness or heat without cold. joy without pain would loose all meaning, leaving us with very little to look forward to in life.
I read a sign on my way home from work this morning that said, "If you are looking for the obstacles, you'll never find the opportunities." I personally look for the obstacles, because they tend to be the opportunities. Each time I overcome one, I learn something new and have more respect for myself, which makes each following problem something I know I can deal with and learn something from.

It would be boring otherwise. I like to, not only face problems in life, but cause them too. Mostly for other people but sometimes for myself.

To make are souls stronger so that we can endure the anguish of the abyss. witch is a fate that will fall upon all of us for no one is free of sin, and god is not as forgiving as you may think. Quiet the opposite.

I think many of our problems would disappear if we just sat down and tried to simplify our lives.
