I've been looking without luck for a piece of software or website which reformulates equations to derive the needed equation.

For example I have the equation p*q = (v*q) + F + D + (t *((p*q)-(t*q)-F-D)) and I wasn to know

If you don't have a graphing calculator, you can get a free online TI-89/ 92 from the official TI website at http://education.ti.com/educationportal/appsdelivery/download/download.jsp
Click: "Free Computer Software"
Then Click: "TI FLASH Studio(tm)" under the "Item Description" menu

Install "TI FLASH Studio" and there is an calculator emulator in the program
