italy is 16
spain is 18. the legal age to drink there is 16, but in order to buy it you must be 18+.

both italy and spain are threatening to raise the age to 18.

and as for getting into clubs, it's not hard. you just say you don't have your id (if they even ask), and they'll let you in either way. they're both really carefree about who enters the clubs.

I don't know which France John McGrawl has been to but the legal drinking age in France (purchase and consume) is 16 (including in private but it's not enforced in private). Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult in bars.

Spain - 18 (only the seller can be prosecuted)
Italy - 16 in bars, no age in shops, not enforced for beer.

Spain: You must be 18 to drink or buy.
But: no one cares if you're not 18 as long as you look like you are. In some parts drinking in the street is not allowed. In big cities you're asked for your ID if you want to get into a club, but you're not asked for it in most bars. If you want to get alcohol, go to one of these chinese shops and they'll sell it without questions.

I went to Italy very last summer season, it replaced into surprising. The eating age is meant to be 18, notwithstanding, i replaced into not yet 16 then and replaced into served alcohol diverse situations. As you likely know, Italy, like many countries, outdoors of the U.S., has a lenient eating age. have an awesome holiday.

i didn't think they had one... At least, the last time I checked they didn't... France certainly doesn't - I'm fairly certain those romantic countries don't have limits...
