Remove it now!! kids love gardens and gardening, so get rid of the foxglove and create a herb garden and maybe add some easy to grow vegetables like beetroot carrots etc. the kids will get excercise, fresh air and a bit of understanding ie. veg doesn't grow in supermarkets. you will be rewarded!!!!!

(Foxglove aka Digitalis), this flower is used in the preparation for hart medications, so therefore is not really suitable for a nursery garden, don't kill it just move it to a more suitable place.

You should definitely remove this plant. The medicaion for high blood pressure (digoxin) originally comes from this plant (digitalis) and if a child gets any of this plant in its mouth you should get him/her straight to the hospital. It is exceedingly dangerous and toxic to adults never mind kids!!!!

No the inside of the flower is poisonous if you eat it & with small children if they touch it & put their fingers in their mouths. I wouldn't risk it personally. Pull it up
