No. My friends do that all the time. It is not only sweet to their girlfriends, it's fun when they sing it out of the blue. It's fine if you sing it. Or somebody else.

It can...kinda depends on the guy and the song. I happen to like the song you mentioned...I think it's sweet. If you're too shy to sing, you can alway grab a boom box, and hold it over your head...in the rain...
