If I have a white boyfriend why when we go out in public all i see is nasty looks from people mostly white?

This is a geographical question, because it totally depends on where u live what kind of response you're gonna get. I've been some places in the US where you'd likely get shot by someone if you where an inter-racial couple walking down the street, this is something plenty of people still have a problem with, but those people shouldn't matter to you because this is after all the twenty first century there ain't nuthin your doing that hasn't been done before, so hold you head high and don't let it get to u.

There are a couple things to consider here: First, while public sentiment toward mixed race relationships are improving (sometimes very hard to see!), there is also the rush for the individuals in the relationship to be sharing an uncommon bond. In that mind-set, it is likely that one may have a few anxieties surrounding the uniqueness of it all, predisposing one to only see those who may or may not disapprove.
If you are in love, show it proudly and unashamedly.

Unfortunately no matter how many advances we make in society towards "equality," some people will continue to be racist no matter what. If you really care for your boyfriend, then you should stay together. Don't worry about people think.

People will always be judging other people, whether it is because of race, sexual orientation, or even just general appearance. Just ignore them and do what makes you happy.

Because your going to places where there are mostly white people. Take him to a hip hop club and see how many nasty looks you get from black people.. See how many of them will disrespect him by trying to spit game to you right in front of him.

You are probably self concious about how you are being perceived and falsly get the impression that people are thinking bad things about you.

I get the same feeling when I leave the bathroom thinking people are looking at me differently because I just got done wiping my rear after sitting on the pot. When in reality if I think about it objectively they most likely are not.

Either way, it doesn't matter unless it matters to you.

It's more than likely jealousy or racism. Most of the times if it's the white girls giving you those looks it's because they are jealous. If it's anyone else more than likely they can't accept interracial relationships and need to get over it.
