My understanding is that all the continents were combined at one time and then drifted apart over time. I assume the rest of the world was one large ocean. Why wouldn't land appear more uniformly? Does this suggest the world was lopsided at one time? Will the continents eventually smash together again?

There has been at least 3 super continents: Pangea (youngest), Rhodinia, and Columbia (oldest). There were certainly more than that, too. The record becomes completly jambled by further tectonics which makes it really hard to go back past 1 billion years to recreate paleogeography.

As far as the start: same problem... that is still an unresolved issue due to the incomplete record.

I tend to subscribe to your opinion for the most part as well. The difference is that I believe for sure that God created everything and if the land masses were more uniform then they would not be as beautiful. The world would not be lopsided from a weight perspective though if that's what you meant. I believe that the continents could move back toward each other if given enough time bu the Lord is coming back soon!

Yes, they will because the continents are constantly on the move powered by subterranean magma flows and convection streams. The American and African continents are still drifting apart, the latter is still smashing into Europe and at the same time breaking up at its eastern side.
So it is not unlikely that one day -millions of years hence - we will have another Pangea or Gondwana.

Earth was formed when the planet Thales smashed it to it forming what is now the earth and the moon. The combining of these to planets brought land masses together and eventually the Teutonic plates drifted apart

Continents continue to drift. We dont know where and when it will end. One clue is when the earth cool down the drift will end.

well...there is your theory.... or there is the theory that GOD CREATED THE WORLD AND THAT SCIENCE WAS MADE BY AN ANTICHRIST TO FURTHER KEEP THE HUMAN RACE FROM THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD....but that is just my opinioin...anywayz...about continental drift...i think you shouldnt really waste you preciouss time on this because we are all going to die before anything large happens such as the reformation of Pangea(the large landform at the begginning of time)

the plates under the ocean are always moving...they are floating on top of lava and sometimes the bump into each other or pull apart.it really depends on how they move that how the land will move.some plates might melt, some might grow,it really depends
