It depends on how long your period is and how long your cycle is. A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (usually 12-16 days) before her next period. And sperm can live in the female body up to 3-5 days. So...if you have sex on day 9 and ovulate on day 12, you can get pregnant.
More specifically, if you have a 34 day cycle, you will probably ovulate between days 18 and 22. So there is no way you could get pregnant 2 days after your period. If you have a 26 day cycle, you probably ovulate between days 10 and 14. So...if your period is 6 days long, and you have sex on day 8, *and* you have an earlier ovulation, then yes, you can.
There is *no* possible way to get pregnant right before your period, either. The difficulty is that there is no way to know ahead of time when your period will actually be. You *could* have ovulated late, which would make your period start later than you expect. Women who got pregnant "2 days before their period" were actually having a longer cycle than they expected.

Any time you have sex..... unprotected, or not you are risking getting pregnant. Also, 3 days before your period, and 3 days after you stop you are most likely to conceive a child. That is proven information, so use caution! If you are not ready, or willing to have the responsibility of a child, then don't take any chances!

Yes, you definitely can. The odds may be less likely, but the chance is always there no matter when you have sex. Sometimes the chances are higher because of ovulation and sometimes the chances are lower. I would say the chances are a little lower right after your period.

if you have regular cycles, not likely because you don't ovulate at that time...if not, then there's more chances of getting pregnant. if you're regular, it should be ok. take this as a life lesson. always use protection because you know what they say about people who have sex without condoms? they are potential parents (ie, parents in the making)...and you don't want to abort, or give up for adoption, or raise a child when you're not ready too. take care

Sure can. My friend got pregnant while on the last days of her period. It CAN happen at any time, but it's not likely. But you never know when your body is going to throw you a curveball and decide to do something silly.

Yes. The sperm can live in your uterus for several days. It's even possible to get pregnant during your period, although it's not as likely.

expensive asker - your body is YOURS, meaning some thing interior it truly is yours. only you've the right to settle on in case you pick to have a toddler or no longer. probability is you're not from now on pregnant from the precum. Your era has little or no to do with getting pregnant, in spite of what a lot of human beings may say, so as that area of it truly is irrelevant. there's a SMALL probability you will get pregnant from precum, in spite of the indisputable fact that it relies upon on how a procedures interior you he were given (i.e. his penis length - the in route of your cervix, the a lot less distant the small quantity of sperm needs to shuttle), yet see you later as he did not actual ejaculate interior you you need to be okay. if you're quite worried about it, the mixed pill approach in all fairness useful, so so that you could pick to attempt it purely in case. in case you DO finally end up getting pregnant, and can't keep the toddler, i urge you to imagine heavily on the placement of abortion. Too many circumstances I listen memories of girls in muslim international places being killed for such issues as this. protecting your self alive is the biggest ingredient. good success. Edit - to distinctive human beings above me, there are not from now on always contraceptives accessible in muslim international places. sex occurs in spite of the provision of such issues (purely inspect texas). it isn't any longer absolutely everyone's fault even as someone receives pregnant in those circumstances, it is the organic order of issues. The organic of order of issues isn't top, and for this reason we've such issues as medicine. it is our interest as human beings to be compassionate to wards circumstances like this - the ethnocentricity of maximum human beings can't be utilized to this challenge.

Its possible but unlikely if you have normal cycles. If you are trying to conceive, then you need to have sex in the middle of your cycle.
