I thought he was kind of cute, but definitely too young. I think it's unreasonable for guys to be extra super cut like Vin Diesel, so being mildly cut is good enough. Routh at least had a nice face. His acting, on the other hand, could use some help.

Are you serious? Go back and look at all of the actors who have portrayed Superman. They were not super hot, handsome but not "super hot". I think Brandon is very handsome, have thought that about him for many years. I'm so sick of people being so unrealistic about this movie and the character.

I have to disagree. Brandon Routh as Superman was like eye candy. Yummy!

I saw Superman Returns, and I think it was more about getting someone with the resemblance of Christopher Reeve, when he was that age. Of course every superhero is to have some attractiveness to them, but then again look who played the original batman.... Adam West. So there you go.

if you only saw him in the National geographic special, wearing just trunks... you'd change your mind.
he has a super package, oh my god.
wish someone caught it on video coz in there, you'd see his well-defined muscles, his well-hurned behind, a huge crotch, and a perfect face.
